Many years ago back in 1Bn 209th FA then Cpt Governor mentored me, a new 2LT... educating me on the finer points of being an officer. All I can say when I think back is "he was great" I still get a chuckle when I think of some of the answers he provided to my questions... Good guys like him should live way longer. The world needs them.. God Bless the Gov....

Ken was a consummate Legionnaire who walked the walk of "Service First". We served together to improve the lives of veterans and their families through The American Legion national commissions and initiatives. Ken is already missed and my condolences are extended to Ken's wife and family. He met our Lord with open arms and a welcome home message of well done faithful servant. Ralph Bozella, Chairman Veterans Affairs & Rehabilitation Commission, The American Legion.

On behalf ,of the Department of Vermont, I send my deepest sympathy, Ken was a good friend and fellow Legion College Graduate. His dry sense of humor was refreshing amongst his friends. I enjoyed our discussions, laughs and thoughts on how great the Red Sox truly are!!! I will miss Ken. He dedicated his time to an organization that is better for embracing his leadership.

Sandra and The Entire Family..... I will miss having Ken stop by our office. He was a fine gentleman, exceptional and dedicated Legionnaire. I enjoyed the years we worked together, especially when he was the Department Commander. He will be joining the "elite group" of Legionnaires in heaven. God Bless your entire family and thank you for sharing him with our Organization. May he rest in peace..... "Annie" Wilsey
