Sandy Raus, Associate
Sandy joined the funeral home following her retirement with the NYS Office of General Services, a job she held for more than 30 years. Most recognized professionally for her time as the costume-wearing elevator operator at the State Capitol, Sandy could be counted on for a smile, laugh, or even a scare during grueling legislative days. At home in Rensselaer, where she has lived since immigrating from Italy in the 1960's, Sandy can boast of her beautiful floral displays -- found at her home and many other locations in the community. Sandy is an active member of the parish, serving as a Eucharist minister and a regular visitor of the sick. You can find Sandy at the funeral home doing what she does best -- offering others a helping hand or a smile during their time of need and keeping the place looking its best.
