Albany-Richard P. Emory, age, 64 years passed away on Wednesday December 9, 2015 at Community Hospice at Albany Memorial Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Albany and lived in the city most of his life. Rich was employed at South Mall Towers as Building Superintendent. He was a member of G.S. Mink & T. Claxton Hose Co. in Rensselaer. Rich loved to fish. Father of Lisa (Earl) Sitterly, Richard E. (Danielle) Emory and Robin Emory; fiancé of Deborah Lown. Also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters, brothers, nieces and nephews. Funeral will be from the W.J. Lyons Jr. Funeral Home 1700 Washington Avenue Rensselaer Friday afternoon at 1:00. All are welcome to attend. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Interment will be in Greenbush Cemetery East Greenbush.
