Rensselaer-Frances A. Rutolo Bylo age 86 years, passed away on Saturday March 18, 2017 after a long illness. She was born in Albany daughter of the late Joseph and Rose Benedetto Rutolo. Frances was employed as a secretary for BASF in Rensselaer. She was an avid quilter and knitter. Frances was a loving mother whose family always came first. Wife of the late John H. Bylo; mother of Michael (Paula) Micheli of Rensselaer and Nancy (Daniel) Knoph of North Augusta, GA and the late Joanne (husband Ray survives) Hennessy; grandmother of Joseph, Amie, Daniel, John, David, Mark, Andrew, Michael P. and Michael C.; sister of Concetta Gisoti, Carmen Rutolo and the late Virginia Mancini. Also survived by 20 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral will be from the W.J. Lyons Jr. Funeral Home 1700 Washington Avenue Rensselaer Saturday morning at 8:30 and 9:30 at Historic St. Mary's Church 10 Lodge Street Albany where a Mass of Christian Death and Burial will be offered. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home Friday from 4-7 pm. Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, East Greenbush.
