Rensselaer- Kathleen M. Gould age 63 lost her battle with ovarian cancer on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at the Community Hospice Inn at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany. Kathleen was born and raised in Troy, resided in Watervliet for most of her life and for the past 15 years has been a resident of Rensselaer. She was a past Columbette at the K of C in Latham. She was employed by Siena College for 35 years and loved following the Saints basketball teams. Kate loved to cook with Rachael Ray and she was an avid QVC shopper. Along with her husband Richard, Kate would vacation in Maine every year on their anniversary. Wife of Richard L. Gould, Jr. Mother of Lisa (Richy) White and Brittany Gould. Grandmother of Taylor Farrell (Dara Miller), Zachary Eveleth, Hannah and Caroline White, Jayden and Jayveon Williams and Noah Jackson and the late Ty Jackson. Daughter of the late Dymetro and Jane Oliksowycz. Sister of Peter Kolber, Carol (Alice) Gibson, Linda Dallas and the late Barbara Ferris, Susan McCann and Jane Clermont. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Special thanks to her friend and sister-in-law Donna Gould and her angels at 33 Fiddlers for their love and support. Funeral mass will be from Our Lady of the Angels Chapel at Siena College Thursday morning at 11:00 AM. All are welcome to attend. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the W.J. Lyons Jr. Funeral Home 1700 Washington Avenue, Rensselaer Wednesday from 4-7 PM. Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
