Obituary of Grace Camilla Hart

Grace Camilla Hart passed away peacefully on December 28, 2023. Born April 26, 1934, the fifth and youngest child of William and Grace Doran, she grew up in Albany and graduated in 1952 from Vincentian Institute.  Grace was predeceased by her parents, William and Grace, her sister Ethel and brothers William B. Jr, Frank J., and Edward C. Sr, her infant son Thomas, and close companion Joseph Sikowsky.  Grace was a dedicated and beloved employee of East Greenbush Central School District for 25 years. Affectionately called “Ma” by students and faculty alike and was always willing to sneak a little extra for those in need.  Her true passion in life was to her family, a devout single mother of three, Grace lived to provide for her children by whom she is survived; Patrick (Shelley) Hart of East Greenbush, Kelly Anne Hart of Strasburg, VA, Thomas (Crystal) of Colchester, CT and four grandchildren, Bébhinn and Claire Tyree and Casey and Neely. Donations in Grace’s memory may be made to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, 3 Oakland Ave., Menands, NY 12205.
