When I was little, I have a memory of going into your bedroom and asked what you were doing. You said you were reading. I said, "I can't hear you reading." You mentioned you were reading silently. I asked to read with you and went to grab a book. I climbed onto your bed and sat next to you, both of us leaning against the headboard. I started whispering what I was reading. You said reading silently was like imagining you're saying the words in your head without speaking out loud. You are the one who taught me how to read silently. Thank you.
Candace, Ellen and Cody, remember going to your house for Thanksgiving and seeing the fireworks on the Fourth of July when you lived in Albany on Raymos St. We remember spending Christmas at the house in Gloversville on First Ave and singing Christmas carols around the piano with Dad playing. All the holidays with family.
I remember you coming to Colorado one summer to visit us at our new house.
We all remember your love for cats and always having one or two of them at all times. So many memories. Too many to write.
I wish I could have been able to spend more time with you. You will be missed and always in my heart. I love you so much, your sister Toni. ❤️
