Obituary of Wesley P. Dobert

Troy- Wesley P. Dobert, 80 passed away at home on August 22, 2022, surrounded by his loving family and with the help and guidance of several Hospice nurses and doctors. Born in Troy, NY he was the son of the late Ruth Dobert (Wagner) and Frederick Dobert. Wes had seven other siblings with only one surviving brother, Frederick Dobert. Loving husband of Charlene Dobert and father of Jean Vooris, Tammie Broadhead, and Danielle Lyle (William). Grandfather of ten and great grandfather of nine, also survived by several nieces and nephews. Wes was a City of Troy licensed plumber and worked for several contractors throughout his life. One of his favorite jobs was working at R.P.I. engineering college as Supervisor over Plumbing, Heating, Roofing, and Sheet metal. Wes loved going to Hampton Beach and was able to take a final trip in June. He was a kind and gentle loving man and will be greatly missed by many. Funeral services will be held private at the convenience of the family.
