Obituary of Santa Attura

Rensselaer- Santa Attura, age 89 passed away on Dec. 31, 2021.  She was born on May 7, 1932 in Torrice, Frosinone, Italy. Santa was a homemaker, an avid gardener, a wonderful cook but above all a beloved wife and mother.  She was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist and St. Joseph’s Church as being a member of the St. Anthony’s Society.

Wife of 55 years to Silvano Attura.  Mother of Maria (William Miglianti) Attura and the late Daniela Attura.  Sister of the late Joseph and Andrew Fiacco.   Stepsister of the late Angelo and Arcangelo Fiacco.

  Funeral mass of Christian Burial for Santa will be held at St. John the Evangelist and St. Joseph's Church, Herrick Street Rensselaer, on Thursday January 6, 2022 at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends are invited and may call prior to the mass at the church from 9-10 AM. Interment will be at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in East Greenbush following the mass. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the St. Anthony’s Society, C/O St. John the Evangelist and St. Joseph Church P.O.
