Rensselaer- Jeanne Sullivan Walsh of Rensselaer, NY passed away on October 21, 2021 at the age of 95. She was the daughter of the late James F. Sullivan and Regina Coyne Sullivan. She was born on January 10, 1926 in Albany NY.  She was predeceased by her son Peter, husband John Peter, parents, and her sister Helen (Jack) Kircher.
She is survived by her daughter Eileen (Scott) Franko and son James Sullivan Walsh, and two grandchildren Brian and Emily Franko. She leaves behind many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Jeanne worked at NYS Audit and Control and later the NYS Education Department. She graduated from St. John’s Academy and Mildred Elley. She had a lovely soprano voice and sang at many weddings and funerals. She was extremely proud to be 100% Irish.
A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday October 26 at 9:00am at St. John the Evangelist and St. Joseph Church Herrick Street Rensselaer. All are welcome to attend. Friends and family are invited to call on Monday October 25, from 4-7pm at the W. J. Lyons Jr. Funeral Home. 1700 Washington Avenue Rensselaer. Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
