East Nassau- Sherrie J. Bergeron Lawton Myers age 70 yrs. of East Nassau passed away Sunday, September 19, 2021 at St. Peter’s Hospital in Albany of Respiratory and Heart Failure. She was born on April 12, 1951 in Troy at Samaritan Hospital. She attended New Lebanon Central School District. Sherrie was employed in retail for Ames, OTB, Napa Auto Parts and Gideon Equipment. She was a member of the Nassau Senior Citizens and Bowling League for several years. She enjoyed spending time with her family at the lake, camping, birdwatching and her flower garden.

Sherrie is daughter of the late Albert D. and Jane Bergeron. Wife of the late Leon D. Lawton who passed in 1979 and Donald T. Myers who passed in 2021. Mother of Leon D. Lawton, Jr. (Rhonda) and Tara M. Cruz (Kenneth). Sister of Debby A. (Tom) Bingham (Bergeron), John J. (Donna) Bergeron and the late Teresa M. Bergeron. Grandmother of Vincent J. Toledo and Chase Lee. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Donald and Sherrie exchanged vows and began their life together at the Tsatsawassa Fire House and we will be honoring them coming full circle to one another within months. Now together again, we will celebrate their lives with family and friends at a combined celebration of life service for Donald and Sherrie at the Tsatsawassa Fire House in Brainard, NY at 2PM on Oct. 9, 2021.
