Rensselaer- Jared L. Leinfelder, age 39, passed away of Natural Causes in Schenectady, NY on Monday, June 7th, 2021. Jared was born in DeLand, FL on June 17th, 1981. Jared loved to spend time with his daughters and family. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, being outdoors in nature and playing with his nieces and nephews who affectionately called him “Unky”. He is survived by his mother Patricia Allen of Wynantskill, NY. His daughters Lilly and Hope Leinfelder of Castleton, NY. His brother and sisters Angela Leinfelder-Jones of Rensselaer, NY, Donald (Megan) Leinfelder of Wynantskill, NY and Brittanny Miller of Averill Park, NY. His grandmother Thelma Robertson of DeLand, FL and his partner of many years and mother to his daughters Tabetha Drew of Castleton, NY., along with many other family and friends. He was also the best “Unky” to his nieces and nephews, Dylan, Jaykob and Savannah Jones of Rensselaer, NY. Patrick and Joey Leinfelder of Wynantskill, NY and Peyton and Nicholas Miller of Averill Park, NY. Jared was predeceased by his dad John F. Allen III and his brother in law Gary E. Miller. A celebration of Jared’s life will be held Thursday, June 17th, 2021 at the W.J. Lyons, Jr. Funeral Home, 1700 Washington Ave, Rensselaer, NY 12144 at 6pm. Relatives and friends are invited and may call prior to the service from 4-6pm. Burial will take place at a later date.
