Please share a memory of June to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
EAST GREENBUSH- June M. Winnicki passed away on April 15 at the age of 90 in the comfort of her own home. June was born in East Greenbush, NY on March 31, 1931 to the late William and Edna (Moran) Palmer. June was predeceased by her husband, Antoni Winnicki and her sister Mary Ann Beberwyk. June resided in East Greenbush her whole life, settling across the street from where her grandparents lived. She was a homemaker and later worked as a bus driver for The Schodack Central School District, retiring in 1992. June enjoyed gardening, cooking, antiques, and bird watching. June is survived by her son, John Winnicki and daughter, Tracey Winnicki-Pezzolla (Nicholas Pezzolla); her grandchildren Matthew (Erin) Winnicki, Rehgan (Ryan) Heritage, and Salvatore Pezzolla; her great-grandchildren Madison and Mason Heritage, and Christopher and Lily Winnicki; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Maggie Ferrari, June’s caregiver, for all her compassion, friendship, and exceptional care in making June’s final months at home comfortable and peaceful. With her continued support and care, June was able to stay in her home. We would also like to thank Gina Larose who gave Maggie a much-needed respite and to Bobbie Jo from the Eddy VNA who provided and coordinated care for our mom. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, services will be private at the convenience of the family.
