STILLWATER – Darlene M. Palmer, 64, died Friday, March 29, 2019 at Saratoga Hospital. Born and raised in Rensselaer, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Elizabeth Davidson Childrose.

Darlene’s family, especially her grandchildren, meant the world to her. She loved spending time with them and sharing their lives.

          Darlene is survived by her loving children, Jennifer Archambeault, Catina Archambeault-Stewart, Michael Archambeault, Samantha (Bruce) Edwards, John (Lacey) Archambeault, Charlene (Scott) Finch and Joey Marie Paul; her brothers Robert and Allen (Judy) Childrose. She is also survived by her 15 cherished grandchildren; 2 adored great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Darlene was predeceased by her sister Shirley Ciprioni and brother Douglas Childrose.

          Funeral services for Darlene will be held on Wednesday, April 3, at 10am in the W. J. Lyons Jr., Funeral Home, 1700 Washington Ave., Rensselaer. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 4-7pm. Burial will follow the funeral service in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, East Greenbush.
