Rensselaer- Harold E. Agans, Jr. age 69 of Rensselaer passed away on Monday, June 25, 2018 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Harry was born in Albany and was a lifelong resident of Rensselaer. He was the owner and operator of Custom Wall, Inc. in Rensselaer. Harry was a hard worker with many talents and visions, if he envisioned it, he could build it. He also loved spending time at "Camp Agans." Loving husband of Donna J. Groat-Agans. Cherished son of Harold E. Agans, Sr. and the late Mary Murphy Agans. Devoted father of Doug (Barbara) Agans, Todd (Monique) Agans, Candice Agans-Roemer, Matthew (Jessica) Groat, Chad (Stacy Clark) Agans and Kyle Agans. Grandfather of Caleb, Addyson, Arthur, Olivia, Alyssa, Lena, Garrett and Brendan. Brother of Steven C. Agans, Kenny R. Agans, David P. Agans and Regina M. Byrnes. Harold is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, at 9am in the W.J. Lyons, Jr., Funeral Home, 1700 Washington Ave., Rensselaer. All are welcome to attend. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Friday, from 4 to 7pm. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont. Contributions in Harold's memory may be made to Rensselaer County Hospice, 295 Valley View Blvd., Rensselaer, NY 12144.
