West Sand Lake- Julia E. Stark, 82, died Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at Evergreen Commons in East Greenbush. Born in Hoosick Falls, NY she was the daughter of the late Marcus and Mary (Wolf) Kipp. Julia worked for Marshall Ray Inc. in Troy and was a teacher assistant for the Rensselaer, Columbia and Greene BOCES. She was a life member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Community Congregational Church of Clinton Heights. Julia was a very kind, friendly and caring person who had a wonderful sense of humor. She is survived by her loving husband Charles W. Stark; her devoted son Charles W. Stark, III; her siblings Gertrude Bunting, Eva Calhoun, Elsie Mauro and William Kipp. She was predeceased by her siblings Earl, Marcus, Robert, John and Andrew Kipp and Mary Bacus. Julia is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Thursday, April 5, 2018 from 4 to 7pm at the W. J. Lyons, Jr. Funeral Home, 1700 Washington Ave., Rensselaer.
