North Greenbush- Preston L. Robinson age 94, passed away at his residence Monday July 24, 2017. He was born in Albany on September 7, 1922 and was raised in Albany and summered at Brant Lake. He was a graduate of Milne High School and retired from Shell Oil Company at the Port of Rensselaer. Mr. Robinson was a US Navy veteran serving at the Watervliet Arsenal. He was a member of Boy Scout Troup 10 and Troop 48 Horseback Mounted Division. He was truly a "Mr. Fix-It". He was predeceased by his wife, Gladys Smith Robinson, whom he married on July 13, 1946 in Albany, NY. Son of the late Preston and Catherine Lewis Robinson. Father of Gail (Mark) Keller and Alan (Liesa) Robinson. Grandfather of Jeff (Dawn) Robinson and Eric (Mandy) Robinson. Calling hours will be at the W. J. Lyons Jr. Funeral Home, 1700 Washington Avenue Rensselaer Thursday morning from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. All are welcome to attend. Interment will be at Memory Gardens Colonie.
