Troy- Monica S. Perez Paigo, 86 of Troy passed away at her residence on Tuesday May 23, 2017. She was born in Rensselaer and lived most of her life in Rensselaer before moving to Troy 10 years ago. Mrs. Paigo was employed by the Albany School District. Monica enjoyed cooking, feeding people and trips to casinos playing poker and card games. Wife of the late James Paigo. Mother of James (the late Susan) Paigo, Theresa (Stephen) Cenci, Michelle (Ed) Kearnan and the late Joseph Paigo. Grandmother of Sam, Lisa, Stephanie (Billy), Jimmy, Danielle and Jeniffer. Great Grandmother of Alivia. Sister of Helen, Gloria, Jeanie, Maryanne and the late Anita, Maria, Manuel, James, Frank, John and Richard. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. The Liturgy of Christian Death and Burial will be offered at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Eagle Street Albany, Friday morning at 10:00, all are welcome to attend. There will be no evening calling hours. Interment will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery Colonie. In lieu of flowers contributions in her memory may be made to Community Hospice of Rensselaer County, 295 Valley View Blvd. Rensselaer, NY 12144.
