Schodack-Jayne M. Daoust age, 74 years passed away peacefully on Monday, March 27, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Albany and grew up in East Greenbush. Jayne was a graduate of Columbia High School class of 1961. She was an avid painter who specialized in scenery and loved being on the water. Jayne enjoyed garage sales, going to Florida for the winter and her canine buddies Ziva and Yogi. Her biggest joy in life was being a mother and grandmother and going out to dinner on Friday nights. Wife of the late Ronald A. Daoust, Sr.; mother of Nicole (Patrick) Brisson and the late Traci Daoust and Ronald A., Daoust, Jr.; grandmother of Logan and Colton Brisson; mother-in-law of Matt Stuto. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws. Funeral mass will be held on Thursday March 30, 2017 at 11:00 am at St. John the Evangelist and St. Joseph Church Herrick Street Rensselaer. All are welcome to attend. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the W.J. Lyons Jr. Funeral Home 1700 Washington Avenue Rensselaer Thursday prior to the mass from 9:00-10:30 am. Interment will be in New Rural Cemetery, East Greenbush.
