East Greenbush- Margaret M. Collandra, "Margie", 84 of East Greenbush, NY. Crossed peacefully into eternal life on Saturday, January 28, 2017, while surrounded by her loving family. Margaret was a selfless giver of her love and time. Predeceased by her parents Joseph & Margaret Vaillancourt, her brother William Vaillancourt and his wife Ginger, as well as her brother-in-law, Carlo Fiscarelli. Margaret leaves behind her loving husband of 63 years, Joseph J. Collandra, sisters, Katherine Fiscarelli, Ann Burris and her brother-in-law, Ronald Burris. Margaret was the devoted mother of Michael D. Collandra, James B. Collandra and Susan J. Collandra. Margaret was adored by seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Having graduated from Cathedral Academy in Albany, NY, Margaret became a dedicated employee with New York Telephone, Niagara Mohawk and the State of New York. She had a successful, thirty-year career as a senior financial clerk in the Office of General Services at the State of New York. Margaret was a loyal member of the Roman Catholic Church and had been a member of the Ladies Home Bureau of Rensselaer. Services will be held at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Chapel Street, Albany, NY on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at 10:30 AM. Burial to follow, at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Albany, NY. Donations may be made to St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church or the American Heart Association.
