Rensselaer- John Pladel age 89 yrs. Of Rensselaer passed away on Sunday Jan. 15, 2017. He was born in Rensselaer and lived in the Rensselaer area his entire life. Mr. Pladel was employed as an electrician for Al Tech Steel Corp in Watervliet. John was a US Navy veteran of WWII.
Husband of Joan Peacock Pladel of Rensselaer. Father of Debra (Michael) Valentino of Cohoes, Kevin Pladel of Rensselaer, Scott (Jennifer) Pladel of Boston, Keith (Shenae) Pladel of Middletown and the late John Pladel. Also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the W. J. Lyons Jr. Funeral Home 1700 Washington Avenue Rensselaer Thursday morning at 10:00 all are welcome to attend. Calling hours will be at the funeral home Wednesday from 5-7 PM. Interment will be at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery East Greenbush.
