West Sand Lake- Anna Maria Mayer has gone to be with her Lord and savior, Jesus Christ on Friday December 2, 2016. She was the faithful, loving mother of Richard Mayer and wife Patricia (Fox) Mayer and Edward Mayer and wife Eileen (Lang) Mayer and predeceased William Mayer and Teresa (Abrams) Mayer. She leaves grandchildren David Mayer, Rachael Mayer, William Mayer, Daniel Mayer, Laura Brailey, Edward Mayer and Katy Tingley, great grandchildren Liam, Mason, Aiden, William, Olivia, Jaxson, Soren and Avery. Anna was the widowed wife of Norman Mayer. Anna came to America as a war bride in 1946. She was born in Lucera, Italy on August 21, 1921. She lived her 95 years with great passion and love to all that she knew.
Funeral from the W. J. Lyons Jr. Funeral Home 1700 Washington Avenue Rensselaer Tuesday morning at 10:00. All are welcome to attend. Calling hours will be at the funeral home Monday from 4-7 PM. Interment in New Rural Cemetery East Greenbush.
