Rensselaer- Doris M. Perez age 87 yrs. of Rensselaer passed away Tuesday September 22, 2015 at Community Hospice at Albany Memorial Hospital. She was born in Albany and resided in Albany many years before moving to Rensselaer in 2007. Doris was employed as a crossing guard for the Albany Police Department for 36 years. Wife of the late Frank J. Perez; mother of Edward (ex wife Barbara) Williams, Michael (Maryjane) Williams, Thomas (ex wife Debbie) Williams and Christine (ex husband Mark) Maxwell; step mother of Andrew Perez; sister of Lillian Dorato and Shirley (Ed) Derringh. Grandmother of Christopher (Dawn) Williams, Joseph (Missy) Williams, Michael Williams, Jr., Melissa Williams, Thomas Williams, Wayne (Sheri) Williams, Jr., Joseph Williams, Heather Nichole Maxwell, Kristina Lynn Maxwell and Elizabeth Christine (Tad) Reynolds. Great grandmother of Maci Jo and Tyler Williams, Ryan and Patrick Williams, Samantha Williams, Chloe Madison Williams, Ryan Williams, Phillip Williams, Melinda Williams and Aaron Williams. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral from the W. J. Lyons Funeral Home 1700 Washington Avenue Rensselaer Saturday morning at 11:00. All are welcome to attend. Calling hours will be from 9-11 AM prior to the service. Interment will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery Central Avenue Colonie.
