Obituary of Helen A. Cox

Helen A. Cox ("Aurilla"), 77, of East Greenbush died Friday, February 19, 2016 at the Eddy Village Green. Helen was born in Albany, and worked 27 years with the New York State Higher Education Department. Helen is now at total peace with her savior, Jesus Christ. Helen was predeceased by her husband, Dale Cox, and survived by her sister, Ethel Lansing, and brothers, Geoffrey and Edward Haines. Helen had over 15 nephews and nieces, who loved her dearly. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday at Holy Spirit Church, 667 Columbia Turnpike, East Greenbush, followed by internment at Memory Gardens, Colonie. Friends may call at the Lyons Funeral Home, 1700 Washington Avenue, Rensselaer on Monday from 4-7. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Eddy Village Green, House 5, 200 Village Green Drive Cohoes, New York 12047.
