Rensselaer-Steven R. Lyons age, 43 years, of Troy passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2016. He was born in Albany, grew up in Rensselaer and moved to Troy eleven years ago. Steve was a lover of photography, cooking, camping, flying a kite with his children, vacationing with his family and anything to do with the computer. He was an avid outdoorsman and animal lover.
Son of the late Robert and Ann Leighton Lyons; father of Riley, Kelsey and Wesley Lyons; former spouse of Theresa Cannon Lyons; brother of Kate (Eric) DeGiule. Also survived by several nephews.
Funeral will be from the W.J. Lyons Jr. Funeral Home 1700 Washington Avenue Rensselaer Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. All are welcome to attend. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home Friday prior to the service from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
