Walter Bell

Cropseyville- Walter W. Bell, Jr. age 76 of Cropseyville passed away Thursday, Dec. 28, 2017 at the Stratton VA Medical Center in Albany after a courageous battle with lung cancer. Walter was born in Albany and resided in Rotterdam, Orange City, FL and Esperance, NY. Walter graduated from Philip Schuyler High School class of 1959 and then attended Delaware State University. Mr. Bell is an Air Force Veteran serving from 1959-1963. He was a great father and grandfather, loved traveling, Norte Dame football and was always there for a good laugh. Former spouse of Wendy Bell. Son of the late Walter W. Bell, Sr. and Martha (Richards) Bell. Father of Walter W. Bell, III and Daniel Bell. Brother of Carol Charland, Rose Miller, Shirley Hart and the late Albert Bell, Richard Bell and George Bell. Grandfather of Skyler Bell, Madison Bell, Devonte Ortiz and Shea Bell. Relatives and friends are invited and may call to the W.J. Lyons Jr. Funeral Home 1700 Washington Avenue Rensselaer Thursday from 4-7 PM. A graveside service will be held Friday at 10 AM at Evergreen Memorial Park, Schenectady.
