Wallace J. Malek

Defreestville- Wallace J. Malek of Defreestville passed away Monday January 2, 2023, at Rosewood Gardens with his family by his side. Wally married the love of his life, Evelyn Mrozowski Malek in 1956. Wallace opened Malek’s Mobil Station in 1956 and was known for providing excellent service to his customers. He was a proud US Army veteran of the Korean War.

Wallace leaves behind his wife, Evelyn Mrozowski Malek. Father of Mark (Lisa) and Kathryn. Grandfather Samantha and Amanda and great grandfather of Mason, Camden, Cruz, Addison. Son of the late Katherine and Michael Malek. Brother of Doris and the late Teddy, Joseph, Eleanor, Mary and Kay. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Wally’s wishes there will be no calling hours. A private mass will be offered for the immediate family with Fr. Mark Gnidzinski celebrating.
