Rensselaer- Suzette A. Game, the daughter of the late Jerry & Josephine Iorio, was born on July 13, 1938 in Brooklyn, NY. Suzette made her heavenly transition at home, surrounded by her family, on Tuesday, January 25, 2022. Sue grew up in South Ozone Park & ironically met her future husband, Clement V. Game there. For 50 years of wedding bliss, they lived in Port Jefferson Station, L.I., NY before moving upstate to Guilderland, NY and completing their lives in Rensselaer, NY.
Some of her happiest memories were while she was employed as a food service worker for the Guilderland Central School District (Lynnwood Elementary School). Music was a big part of her life, whether she was singing or dancing the night away with her husband. Every year she orchestrated a vacation for her family and extended family from Long Island where lifelong memories were made at Bonnie View on Lake George. She loved to garden, adorning her yard with many different types of flower beds. She was also passionate about cooking. Whether she was entertaining or just nourishing her children, there was always a feast to be had.
She was predeceased by her loving husband, Clement Game. She leaves behind three children: daughter, Catherine-Mary (Richard) Scoons, & son Thomas (Sande) Game & daughter Kerry Engle (Joe Kaufman) & grandmother to Patricia (J.J.) Lavery, Christina (Dominic) Hunt & Christopher Game. She became a great grandmother to Hailie Lavery in May. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank all of the aides that took care of our mother over the past year and a half. They went over and above allowing her to remain in her home until her passing.
