Susan D. Cobbins-Hedgecock

Rensselaer- Susan Cobbins-Hedgecock 61 of Rensselaer passed on Thursday, December 10, 2020. She had been battling health complications for the last three years. Born on July 5, 1959, Susan resided in Hudson, NY and relocated to Rensselaer in 2006, and married Craig Hedgecock in 2009. Susan spent many tireless hours and years working as a Licensed Practical Nurse in a variety of settings. Her spirit of giving will never be forgotten. Susan’s strong relationship to the local community and family in Hudson was apparent and she was a devoted member of Shiloh Baptist Church in Hudson for many years. Susan was one daughter out of five siblings born from parents Jack Cobbins and Dorothy Crank-Cobbins. Susan’s three brothers have all passed, Michael Cobbins, Gregory Cobbins and Daniel Cobbins. Susan is survived by her sister Janice Haynes of Green Island. Mother of Michael Collins (Daniele) of Hudson and James Cobbins of Albany. Grandmother Noah Collins (age 7) of Hudson. All services will be private at the convenience of the family.
