Penny Reed

Halfmoon-Penny M. Reed, age, 39 years passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2016. She was born in Albany and has lived in Halfmoon for most of her life. Penny was employed as a clerk for the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles in Albany. She loved her family and her animals. Daughter of Whitney (Anne) Reed, Jr. and the late Darlene Roberts Reed; mother of Kaylamay Scicchitano and the late Kyle Scicchitano; grandmother of Sophie Rowney; sister of Whitney (Erica) Reed and Chad (Saemee) Reed; aunt of Skyler and Keanu Reed and Alexandra and Samantha Reed. Also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral will be from the W.J. Lyons Jr. Funeral Home 1700 Washington Avenue Rensselaer Friday evening at 7:00. All are welcome to attend. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home Friday prior to the service from 4-7 pm. Interment will be in New Rural Cemetery Third Avenue Ext. East Greenbush Saturday morning at 10:00. All are invited.
