Nancy Brooks

Delmar- Nancy Brooking Brooks age 81 of Springfield Center passed away on Wednesday July 12, 2017. Nancy was retired from Matthew Bender Publishing Co. and after retirement worked for Price Chopper Markets. She was daughter of the late Earl Everett Brooking, Sr. and Malvin May Butler Brooking. Wife of the late Stanley H. Brooks, Sr. whom she was married to for 28 years. Mother of Stanley H. Brooks, Jr. and Mother-in-law of Kathleen V. Parks Brooks. Sister of the late Rosemary Donlon, Pearl O'Brien and Earl Brooking, Jr. Grandmother of Laura A. Brooks-Smith and Justin M. Brooks. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Monday at the W. J. Lyons Jr. Funeral Home 1700 Washington Avenue Rensselaer from 5-7 PM. Interment will be Tuesday at New Rural Cemetery East Greenbush.
