Marcia Tracey

Schodack-Marcia Linn Van Buren Tracey age 58 years, passed away on Monday, June 6, 2016 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was born in South Kingston, RI and lived in the capitol district most of her life. Marcia was employed by the New York State Dept. of Law. She liked to do crafts, traveling especially to the ocean and shopping. Daughter of the late Frank and Mildred Goss Van Buren; mother of Jason M. Tracey; sister of David Van Buren. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, a sister-in-law and especially her niece Lauren Van Buren and great-nephew Edward Van Buren. Marcia was predeceased by her beloved canine Chloe. Funeral will be from the First United Methodist Church 1 Gilligan Road East Greenbush Friday morning at 10:30. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the W.J. Lyons Jr. Funeral Home 1700 Washington Avenue Rensselaer Thursday from 4-7 p.m. Interment will be in East Greenbush Cemetery.
