Kyle Scicchitano

Clifton Park-Kyle Reed Scicchitano passed away August 15th, 2016 at the age of 13. He was loved by all of his family and friends. Survived by mother Penny Reed; father Carl Scicchitano and step mother Catrina Scicchitano; sister Kaylamay Scicchitano and brother-in-law Matt Rowney; grandmother Susan Scicchitano; grandfather "papa" Whitney Reed Jr. and grandmother Ann Reed; uncle Whitney Reed III and aunt Erica Reed; uncle Chad Reed and aunt Samaee Reed; cousins Skyler Reed, Keanu Reed, Lexi Reed, and Sami Reed; niece Sophie Rowney. Also survived by beloved friends Gavin, Sarah, his dog Tempy, and many great aunts, uncles, and second cousins. Kyle loved many things including animals, nature, video games, movies, adventures, hockey, race cars, and science. He was a kind loving boy. He loved to snuggle and cuddle and care for animals. He wanted to save endangered animals. His heart was big enough to care for all living things. Kyle will never be forgotten and has a place in all of our hearts. Wake will be held at the W.J. Lyons Jr. Funeral Home 1700 Washington Avenue Rensselaer on Saturday, August 20th from 4pm to 7pm and a small service will be held at New Rural Cemetery in East Greenbush on Monday, August 22nd at 11am. You may bring flowers and/or a donation which will go to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society as Kyle would have loved anyone who donates to help rescue and care for their animals.
