Katherine Carroll

Rensselaer- Katherine Campbell Carroll, 94, died on Thursday, December 31, 2015. Born in Albany, she was a lifelong resident. She was predeceased by her sisters, Ruth Morford, Gertrude Scully, Alice Walsh, Laura Tatro and Dorothy Hafner; brother, Earl Campbell; Survivors include her children, James (Barbara) Carroll, William (Arlene) Carroll, Nancy (Robert) Myers and Katherine Rohrer. Also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. A service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at the W.J. Lyons Jr. Funeral Home, 1700 Washington Avenue, Rensselaer. All are welcome to attend. Visiting hours will precede the service, from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in New Rural Cemetery, East Greenbush. In lieu of flowers contributions in Katherine's memory may be made to Community Hospice of Rensselaer County, 295 Valley View Blvd. Rensselaer, NY 12144.
