John Brennan

Rensselaer- John "Jack" P. Brennan age 87, passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at home. John was born in Brooklyn and was the son of the late Luke and Nellie Brennan. After high school, Jack served four years in the Air Force during the Korean War Crisis. Jack later moved to Cornwallville with his wife to raise their children. He was a manager for the Campbell Soup Company often traveling the northeast. His favorite pastime was telling stories and singing to his grandchildren and great grandchildren. After his retirement, Jack and his wife Lucy moved to Rensselaer to enjoy the city life once again and to spend quality time with their great grandchildren. Husband of Lucy H. Brennan. Father of Lisa Brennan and Amy- Jean Carlzon. Grandfather of Emily Valerio, Jacqueline Carcaramo and Kelly Brennan. Great grandfather of Naomi and Manny Valerio. Uncle of Janet Polizano and Johnny Rittenhouse. A service of remembrance will be celebrated on Saturday, May 25, 2024, at 4pm. Relatives and friends are invited and may visit with John's family prior to the service from 2-4pm.
