Joanna Elie

Petersburgh- Joanna M. Elie age 42 passed away Thursday, April 21,2016 at Samaritan Hospital in Troy. Joanna was born in California, raised in Grafton and has resided in Petersburgh for the past 20 years. She was employed by various colleges. Joanna was an animal lover and loved her pets. Wife of Peter W. Elie; daughter of James and Joanne Williams; sister of Aaron Williams. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Memorial mass will be from St. Jude the Apostle Church, Wynantskill Tuesday morning at 9:30. All are welcome to attend. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the W.J. Lyons Jr. Funeral Home 1700 Washington Avenue, Rensselaer Monday from 4-7 PM. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Troy. Contributions in Joanna's memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
