Jean Pondillo

Rensselaer-Jean "Jeanie Pat" Pondillo, age, 67 years, of Forbes Avenue passed away on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at her residence surrounded by her loving family after a battle with cancer. She was born on November 1, 1948 in Albany and resided in Cohoes and Rensselaer. She was a 1967 graduate of Shaker High School. Jean was employed as a cashier at McDonalds. She enjoyed camping, playing Pac-Man, bingo, watching soaps and spending time with her family. Daughter of the late John and Jean Everhardt; mother of Sonya (Anthony) Girgenti, Samuel (Melissa) Pondillo, Chris Pondillo and Laura O'Melia. Also survived by several grandchildren. Funeral will be from the W.J. Lyons Jr. Funeral Home 1700 Washington Avenue Rensselaer Friday evening at 7:00 pm. All are welcome to attend. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home prior to the service from 6:00 to 7:00 pm.
