Jean A. Dolder

East Greenbush- Jean A. Dolder, age 94 passed away peacefully at Albany Medical Center on Friday, March 19, 2021. Jean was born in Mechanicville to the late Francis and Mary Guilianelli. Jean was a home maker most of her life and enjoyed designing and sewing her own clothing. She loved the outdoors and was an avid gardener and was dedicated to researching genealogy with her husband as well as studying astrology. Devoted wife of the late William J. Dolder, Sr. Loving mother of James (Josephine) Dolder, Mary (Michael) Meleco and the late William J. Dolder, Jr. Sister of the late Adelaide Kieber, Carlton Guilianelli, Cecelia Jablonowski and Rocco Guilianelli. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Dottie (McKenna) Gipp, nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass will be from the Church of St. Mary at Clinton Heights, Columbia Turnpike, East Greenbush on Tuesday March 23, 2021 at 10:30 AM. The Mass will be live streamed by the Church of St. Mary at Clinton Heights and will be viewable on their Facebook page. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the W.J. Lyons, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc. 1700 Washington Avenue, Rensselaer, Tuesday prior to the Mass from 9-10AM. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont. The family would like to extend a special thank you to St. Peter’s Hospital, the Eddy Visiting Nurses and Albany Medical Center especially C3 for their concern and compassion shown to Jean.
