East Greenbush- Jean Bakerian, age 85 passed away peacefully at home April 26, 2021, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Albany and resided in East Greenbush for 55 years. She was a most loving wife to her deceased husband Abraham, and a most devoted mother to her children. She treasured her family and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as Grandma. When visiting with her, she would end the day with "Love you More" as they walked out the door. She loved cooking; she is known for her delicious pasta sauce and rice pilaf. She spent her later years enjoying her feline friend Snowball. She made friends everywhere she went, while working at McDonalds, or the Lunch Lady in E G Schools, the EG Ladies Firehouse Auxiliary, or playing her favorite game of BINGO! She had an incredible loving personality and always made you feel comfortable in her presence. She is the daughter of the late Dominick and Ruth Spenziero. She is the loving mother of Stephen J. (Carla) Bakerian, Debra Stark (Randall Lodge) Victoria Abaire and Daniel Bakerian. The adorned grandmother of Nicole Bonney, Jamie McKeon, Ryan (Alyssa) Bakerian, Douglas Abaire Jr, Nicholas Bakerian, Alexandra Stark, Dylan Bakerian Alyssa Abaire & Joseph Bent, III. She is the great grandmother of Dominick, Donte, Zoey, Hailey, Zachary and Ava! She is survived by her sisters, Ruth Faford, Arlene Isenburg and her brother Joseph Spenziero. She is predeceased by her other siblings, Margaret Spenziero, Dominic Spenziero, and Catherine Bujak. Please join us in the celebration of her life Thursday, April 29th, at 12:00 pm at W J Lyons, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc 1700 Washington Ave. Rensselaer NY. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home prior to the service from 10AM-12PM. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, East Greenbush.
