James Juliano, Sr.

James J. Juliano Sr., lovingly referred to as "Doc or Doctor J",  age 86, from Stephentown NY passed away early Friday morning, August 9, 2024 at Berkshire Medical hospital. James is the son of late Sylvestro "Samuel" and Hilda Juliano. James is also predeceased by his wife Patricia M. Juliano, his son Daniel F. Juliano Sr., and his grandson Maxim J. Juliano.

James is survived by his loving children: James J. Juliano Jr., Joseph J. Juliano Sr., Michael A. Juliano Sr. (Reban), Robert J. Juliano and his only daughter, Katelyn Juliano. He is also survived by his adoring Grandchildren: Daniel F. Juliano Jr. (Shauna), Michael A. Juliano Jr. (Eslana), Krista Collandra, Joseph Collandra, Sawyer DuLong (step grandson), Joseph J. Juliano Jr., Aiden J. Yarter, Cyrus A. Furtado Jr., Journee Juliano, and Phoenix Juliano. Additionally, he is survived by, many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

James "Jim" joined the Navy at the age of 17. He retired from Sterling Winthrop in Rensselaer, N.Y.. Jim was also a co-business owner and good friend with, the late Bob Donovan, of the Korner Kone on Columbia Turnpike in Rensselaer. James had a passion for muscle cars, NASCAR, baseball, fishing and darts. Jim was an avid muscle car owner, and he enjoyed going to Lebanon Valley and car shows with his children dating back to into the 1950's. He enjoyed many hours working on and talking about cars with his children and his friends Duane, Keith and the late Jim Bouck. Jim enjoyed coaching his children at the Rensselaer Little League. Jim enjoyed watching Bobby play his baseball in New Lebanon. Jim played darts for many years at the Elks club, among other places. Jim's retirement years were spent raising his younger children and helping with the grandchildren, and simply being with his family. He loved to fish with his buddy Aiden and his little brother Cyrus. Jim had a heart of gold and loved all of his family and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited and may call to the W.J. Lyons Jr., Funeral Home, 1700 Washington Avenue, Rensselaer on Monday, August 19, 2024, from 4-6 pm, a funeral home service will follow at 6pm. Interment will be held private.
