Harry F. Oliver

Albany- Harry F. Oliver age 69, passed away Friday Nov. 4, 2022, at Albany Medical Center. Harry was born in Albany and was a lifelong resident of the city. He was a proud US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. Harry was employed by Albany County Correctional Facility as a correctional officer, and he delivered pizzas for PJ’s Pizza in Albany for over 30 years, being known as the Elvis Delivery Man. He was a member of the Zaloga Post in Albany. Harry enjoyed watching movies, listening to Elvis, playing cards with family and friends, visiting Casinos, and celebrating holidays, especially Halloween. Fiancé of Linda J. Bagley. Father of Yvonne M. Oliver, Lewis E. Oliver (Jennifer), James H. Oliver, Melissa L. Bagley (William VanNatten) and Patricia A. Bagley. Grandfather of Jasmine, Kaila, Marisa, Joseph, Brandon, Andrew, Tyler, Jordynn, Zachary, Carissa, Jason, Carla, and Cecelia. Brother of Leigh Raider, Beth Trull, Helen Cooper, and Jeff Oliver. Also survived by several great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Funeral from the W.J. Lyons Jr. Funeral Home, 1700 Washington Avenue, Rensselaer Monday evening at 6PM. All are welcome to attend. Relatives and friends are invited and may call prior to the service from 3-6PM. Interment in the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery will take place at a later date.
