East Greenbush-Francis T. Lochner, 70 of East Greenbush passed away April 13, 2016 after an extended illness. Frank was born in Albany, NY to the late John and Rosemary Lochner. Survivors include his wife of 43 years Juanita (Fiacco), his brothers John (Theresa) and Joseph (Jacqueline), many brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews. Frank will be very much missed by his very special pet-Kate. He retired from the Traveler's Insurance Co. after many years as a claims adjuster. Frank served in the US Air Force. He was stationed in Okinawa, Japan and Denver, Colorado during the Vietnam Era. He was a member of the Melvin Roads American Legion Post #1231. Frank was an avid sports enthusiast. His love for the NY Giants, NY Yankees and Notre Dame kept him busy all year round. He was a very dedicated communicant of the Church of St. Mary at Clinton Heights. Calling hours will be held on Sunday April 17, 2016 from 2:00-6:00 p.m. at the W.J. Lyons Jr. Funeral Home 1700 Washington Avenue Rensselaer, NY. Funeral services will be held on Monday April 18, 2016 from the funeral home at 8:30 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial from the Church of St. Mary at Clinton Heights Columbia Trpk. East Greenbush at 9:30 a.m. Interment with military honors will follow the Mass in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, East Greenbush.
