Elizabeth Horn

Halfmoon-Elizabeth Puls Horn, age 89, of Halfmoon passed away on Monday October 24, 2016. She Was born in Albany and lived many years in East Greenbush before moving to Halfmoon. Mrs. Horn was employed as a secretary for Huyck Woolen Mill in Rensselaer. She was a communicant of The Church of St. Mary at Clinton Heights and was a member of the church rosary altar society. Elizabeth was involved in the PTA, Mother's Club and helping with bazaars. Wife of the late James Horn, mother of Mary Beth Paquette of Halfmoon. Grandmother of Jaclyn Paquette. Sister of the late Alex and Paul Puls and Hilda Smith. Special aunt of Paul Smith and Margaret Deveneau. Other nieces and nephews survive her. Funeral from the W. J. Lyons Jr. Funeral Home 1700 Washington Avenue 1700 Washington Avenue Rensselaer Saturday morning at 8:30 and 9:30 at the Church of St. Mary Columbia Turnpike East Greenbush where the liturgy of Christian death and burial will be offered. Calling hours will be at the funeral home Friday from 4-7 PM. Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery East Greenbush.
