Eleanor Rossner

EAST GREENBUSH - Eleanor Rossner, 104, of East Greenbush passed away on February 8, 2018. Born in Brooklyn, Eleanor worked as a seamstress and later as a secretary for a bank. A gifted soprano, Eleanor sang in her church choir for 71 years. Predeceased by her husband, she is survived by her daughter, five grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, February 11, 2018, from 2 to 4pm in the W.J. Lyons Jr. Funeral Home, 1700 Washington Avenue, Rensselaer. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, at 11am in the Church of the Holy Spirit, Columbia Tpk., East Greenbush. Interment will follow the funeral in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
