Kernozek, Eileen A. Albany- Eileen A. Kernozek of Albany, passed away at home on Friday, July 22, 2016, surrounded by her adoring family. Eileen was born in Albany and was also a long term resident of Rensselaer and Voorheesville. Eileen was the daughter of the late John V. Albert Sr. and Alice Hawkins Albert and was a graduate of Cathedral Academy. She was employed by Ma Bell for over twenty-five years. Eileen also dedicated many hours towards Catholic Charities. . In addition to her parents, Eileen was also predeceased by her beloved husband of fifty-four years, Thaddeus H. Kernozek. She is survived by her four children: Steven (Brenda) Kernozek of Malone, Diane (Vincent) Farrell of Johnsonville, Andrew (Holly) Kernozek of Guilderland, and Richard (Christine) Kernozek of Newburg, Md; her brothers: Jerry (Marylou) Albert of Bennington Vt. And John V (Mary Agnes) Albert Jr of Port St. Lucie, Fl. And her beloved grandchildren: Vincent, Eileen, Christian, Alexander, Amanda, Victoria, Gabrielle, and Sydney, as well as numerous loving nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2016, from 4-7 p.m. at the Lyons Funeral Home at 1700 Washington Avenue, Rensselaer, NY 12144. Funeral Services will begin on Friday, July 29, 2016, 9 a.m., from the funeral home, followed at 10 a.m. by a Mass of Christian Burial at The Parish of St. John the Evangelist and St. Joseph in Rensselaer. Burial will be at St. Agnes Cemetery in Albany. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Albany or Catholic Charities.
