Dorothy I. Schermerhorn

East Greenbush- Dorothy I. Schermerhorn passed at her home on January 16, 2023 after 96 years of a life well lived; wife of Raymond A. Schermerhorn, daughter of Arthur and Dorothy Ruth, sister of Lucille Bennett and Arthur “Bud” Ruth and mother of Betty Rice and Harry Schermerhorn (Jacqueline). With her positive attitude and beautiful smile, Dorothy endeared herself to everyone she met. She will be greatly missed by her children Betty and Harry and by the many friends she made over her long life.

The family extends their gratitude for the wonderful care she received from Saratoga Hospital, Dr. Nicole Monserrate and Community Hospice. Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
