Dolores Elsie Pratt ("Dee"), 81, of North Greenbush, N.Y. passed away Saturday in her home surrounded by her four children. She was born to the late Fred Conrad Vielhauer and Irene Cecilia Billinger, July 3, 1935, in Philadelphia, PA. She married the late Walter S. Pratt and spent 34 joy filled years together, traveling and spending time with family and friends. Dee is survived by her children, William Earon from Cohasset, MA, Judith Grills and husband, Nathan Grills from London, KY, Lisa Varano and fiancé, Steve Conway from Niskayuna, NY, and, Joseph Earon from Rensselaer, NY; stepson, Michael Pratt from Costa Rica; grandchildren, Monique Earon, Jennifer Scoville and husband, Terry Scoville, Allison Earon, Jessica Koenig and husband, Michael Koenig, Kelly Quinlan and husband, Brian Quinlan, Zachary Grills, Natalie Varano, Ryan Grills and wife, Ashley Grills, and Emily Varano; and great grandchildren, Adison Scoville, Franz Scoville, Olivia Dee Quinlan, and Caroline Grills; sisters and brothers Carol Clark from NJ, Diane Wilhelm from KS, Fred Vielhauer from PA, Thomas Vielhauer from PA; and the many nieces, nephews and cousins. Dee touched the lives of her family and friends in a selfless, caring and loving way. She was loved by all who knew her and cherished every holiday, birthday, and special events involving her family. Dee was a member of the First Presbyterian Church for over 50 years. A long-time resident of Rensselaer who spent the last 3 years as a resident of Eastwyck Village which allowed her to form a new circle of very dear friends. A viewing will be held at W. J. Lyons Funeral Home, 1700 Washington Ave Rensselaer on Tuesday from 5-8 PM. A funeral service will be held Wednesday 10:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church, 34 Broadway, Rensselaer, N.Y. All are welcome to attend. Memorial donations may be made to the First Presbyterian Church, 34 Broadway, Rensselaer, N.Y. 12144 in the memory of Dolores Pratt.
