Dennis R. Tomasone

TROY - Dennis R. Tomasone, 78, died Wednesday, March 14, 2018 in hospice care at Samaritan Hospital. Born in Albany, he was the son of the late Nunzio R. and Arcella (Stone) Tomasone. Dennis served with the Albany Fire Department for 28 years retiring in 1988. He was a longtime member of APPFRA. He is survived by his loving wife Janet C. (Cameron) Tomasone; his sons Dennis R. Jr., of Syracuse, James D., of Troy and Richard T. of North Greenbush; his grandchildren, Richie Perillo, Danielle (Glen) Easton, James D. Tomasone, Jr., Richard T. Tomasone, Jr., Katie L. Tomasone and Cameron D. Tomasone; his great-grandchildren, Liam J. and Ayden R. Tomasone, Kaiden M. and Hunter M. Hoyt, Stella Mae A. Easton and Leo, Archie and Waylan Perillo; his sister Sandra Harseim of Ravena. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Dennis was predeceased by his sister Joan Lopez. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at 10:30 am in the W.J. Lyons Funeral Home, 1700 Washington Ave., Rensselaer. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home on Monday from 4 to 7pm. Interment will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital P.O. Box 2151, Memphis, TN 38101-2151
