Claire Adams

Rensselaer-Claire A. Adams of Rensselaer passed away peacefully at her residence on Friday, April 22, 2016. She was born in Albany and was a lifelong resident of the City of Rensselaer. Claire was a homemaker and loved taking vacations, especially when she went to Alaska. She was an avid NY Yankees fan. Wife of the late William J. Adams, Jr.; mother of William J. (Melissa) Adams, III and Barbara (Mike) Adams; grandmother of Courtney (Matthew) and Taylor Adams. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral will be from the W.J. Lyons Jr. Funeral Home 1700 Washington Avenue Rensselaer Wednesday at 12:00 noon. All are welcome to attend. Relatives and friends are invited and call at the funeral home prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, East Greenbush.
