Carolyn L. Naumburg

North Greenbush-Carolyn Naumburg, 88, passed away on Wednesday, October 16, 2024. Born on July 20, 1936, in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Chester and Beulah Boomhower.

A graduate of Van Rensselaer High School, Carolyn worked as a clerk at Edgar S. Rose Jr., Inc., later known as Dignum & Bame Insurance Agency. She was an active member of the Cohoes Red Hats and cherished her time spent playing golf, bowling, and capturing moments through photography. Carolyn was also a devoted member of the Greenbush Reformed Church.

She is survived by her sister, Janet B. Malmstrom, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, Carolyn was predeceased by her husband, Paul Naumburg, her sister Maude Summers, and her brother Chester E. Boomhower.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family on Monday, October 21, 2024, from 10 to 11:30 AM at the Greenbush Reformed Church, 688 Columbia Tpke, East Greenbush. A Funeral Mass will follow at 11:30 AM, with burial at New Rural Cemetery.
